Additionally, our rum cakes are vacuum packed and sealed guaranteeing optimum freshness. Refrigeration is not necessary, however, it is recommended if you do not consume your entire cake within six weeks. You may also refrigerate your cake
for up to six weeks and freeze it for up to four months. If you refrigerate or freeze your cake, we recommend that you serve and eat your cake at room temperature. For maximum flavor, please allow your rum cake to thaw for approximately three hours for refrigerated cakes and six hours for frozen cakes. our cakes may also be served warmed by placing a slice in your microwave for 10 seconds before serving. Add a dollop of whipped cream, a scoop of ice cream, or a glass of wine to make it extra special.

Review of Rum Cake Lounge's Double Chocolate French Roast:
The color is dark mahogany, the texture is medium and the cake has chopped walnuts on the bot tom. The aroma is that of chocolate and espresso, the sweetness level is medium, which highlights the quality of the cocoa. There are pockets of molten chocolate throughout the cake. A great cake but the rum is not as noticeable as we’d like.
